Take a day trip to 1856!

Skibladner is one of Norway’s best-loved historic attractions—and is only a short journey from Oslo. Welcome to a world of exciting sights, sounds and smells, unspoiled scenery, warm hospitality—and a ship that’s been sailing for over 160 years! Sailings open to the public from June 27 until August 20, 2017.

Live on TV

In 2016, Skibladner starred in the latest season of the immensely popular “slow TV” programmes here in Norway. Her entire voyage was broadcast live each day on Norway’s prime TV channel, NRK 1. Skibladner will resume her scheduled service for the 2017 season at the end of June.

Plan your trip here

Skibladner sails daily throughout the summer, 6 days a week (excluding Mondays). We alternate between a northbound route (to Lillehammer) and a southbound route (to Eidsvoll). You can plan your journey to arrive back at your starting point if you travel from Gjøvik, Hamar, Kapp and Moelv. See our timetable for full details—and reserve your tickets online.
