2022 season cancelled


August 1st, Gjøvik: It is with deep regret that we have to announce that Skibldner’s 2022 season has been cancelled, due to a mechanical breakdown in the steam engines. Sailings will recommence in 2023, and we sincerely hope you will join us then. We apologise for all inconvenience and disappointment caused.

About Skibladner: The charming historic paddle steamer “Skibladner” is one of Norway’s best-loved attractions, two hours’ drive north of Oslo. She is the world’s oldest paddle steamer still in timetabled operation, having sailed for over 166 years.

Sailings will resume in spring 2023.

Departure times and prices
Skibladner sails daily throughout the summer, six days a week (excluding Mondays). The start of this year’s season has been delayed due to a mechanical breakdown. Sailings recommenced on July 22nd. We strongly advise booking in advance. Please call our booking office for assistance with your booking.
